Sequence to Sequence Learning with Neural Networks

Presenter:

Ilya Sutskever

First impressions (e.g. organization, overview, personal appearance, body language, target audience)

Very minimalist slide to start.

Use of visuals (e.g. balance of text and visuals, use of colour, assertion and claim evident, use of animations)

A bit too much text and speech to convey ideas.

Use of voice (e.g. pronounciation, articulation, pausing, chuning, word stress, speed)

Good level of confidence, smooth speech.

Final impressions (what did I learn from this talk - what to do or what not to do)

The slides were very very simple, then again it felt like the main ideas were conveyed rather elegantly. This probably is a testament to the knowledgeability of the speaker.
