Interesting Facts
- Pigeon Superstition (Skinner 1948). Skinner was a behaviourist. This experiment made pigeons superstitious, by starving pigeons (until they lose 25% of their body weight), and the pigeons do some random activity. Food is then given randomly, and this process repeated. The pigeons think that whatever activity they were doing during the beginning caused the food to be given randomly, and after 20-30 times, each pigeon is obsessed to one activity. (Paraphrased from Shai-Ben David).
- The Mother of all demos - a demonstration way ahead of its time, showing the computer mouse, teleconferencing etc.
